“Are some opinions about movies more correct than others?” Letterboxd says yes,  because anyone can watch a movie, but not everyone can be a critic
That is, until now.
Theater visits have reached an all time low in recent years due to their sheer lack of affordability. Letterboxd wants to help drive movie fan traffic back to theaters through an all new, "Blue Carpet" exclusive re-viewing event. Not a premiere, but a “Postmiere,” where attendees can fully assume the role of a film critic. Prospective critics will vote in-app to decide which film returns to theaters. The first 100 voters will win free tickets, while other participants can earn rewards points by linking their theater memberships to their Letterboxd accounts and engaging with the platform.
